Clemson vs. Duke Best Bets

We had an amazing Sunday going 4-0 in the LSU vs. Florida St. game with the parlay of the day cashing as well. This put us at 9-3 for the weekend and brought us to 21-7 in college football this season.

Our first play was Florida State moneyline at plus money. The Seminoles dominated the second half winning this one handily. The next play was Jayden Daniels over 45.5 rushing yards. He went over this total in the first half when Daniels rushed for 40 yards late in the second quarter. Our final two plays of the day were Keon Coleman anytime touchdown at plus money and over 54.5 receiving yards which both cashed early. He scored the first touchdown of the game and ended the game with 122 yards and three touchdowns. The parlay of the day was Florida State moneyline, Jayden Daniels over 45.5 rushing yards, and Keon Coleman over 54.5 receiving yards at +653. It was a great day.

There is one college football game on the slate on Monday as Clemson will travel to Durham to take on the Duke Blue Devils. Here are a few bets that you should consider for the Clemson vs. Duke game Monday night.

Clemson vs. Duke Over 54.5 Points (-110) (8:00 p.m. ET)

Duke’s offense is expected to be electric this year. Riley Leonard returns for his third season with the Blue Devils at quarterback. This offense averaged 31.5 points per game in 2022 which ranked 34th in the FBS. They bring back a good portion of starters as well. I also feel like Clemson’s offense will take a step forward this year. There were some issues with quarterback play in 2022 as DJ Uiagalelei was behind center. But they were still 24th in the FBS in scoring with 33.1 points per game. Cade Klubnik will lead this offense now and he’s electric. Both teams were solid defensively last season, but struggled against the pass. Clemson allowed 229.6 passing yards per game which ranked 65th in FBS and Duke allowed 267.3 passing yards per game which ranks 107th in the FBS. Look for a high scoring game in this matchup.

Riley Leonard Over 192.5 Passing Yards (-115)

I’m expecting Leonard to boost his draft stock in a major way this season. Clemson has a solid defense, but I think Duke has their own way throwing the ball today. Leonard has a strong arm and a number of underrated weapons. Jalen Calhoun, Jordan Moore, and Sahmir Hagans is an underrated trio that can make plays. Leonard went over this total in seven of their 13 games last season. The majority of the games he went under were blowouts and they were running the clock. They’re not going to blow Clemson out and will need to have success throwing the ball if they want any chance at winning this game. Clemson should be winning for a good portion of this game which will force Duke to half to throw the football. 200+ shouldn’t be a problem for the talented quarterback.

(DraftKings has 192.5, while Fanduel has 197.5)

Jordan Moore Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

Not many people know, but Moore was a quarterback in high school. In his freshman season, he ran some wildcat from the quarterback position. In 2022, he converted fully to wide receiver and showed some good signs every few weeks. He was inconsistent, but showed better later in the season. Moore went over this total in two of his last three games last year. After another offseason fully transitioned at the wide receiver position, I expect to see him take over as the top option in this Duke passing offense. A lot of his receptions also turned into big gains for the offense. I think he catches 4+ passes tonight for 50+ yards.

Antonio Williams Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Williams was impressive in his true freshman season as he was a First Team Freshman All American. He caught 56 passes for 604 yards for four touchdowns. He will emerge as the top guy in this wide receiver room this season. Klubnik is the starter this year whereas he didn’t play until the final week of the regular season in 2022. Williams was also a true freshman, so they weren’t always together before that. This year, they spent all offseason working as a QB-WR combination and are much more familiar with each other at this high level. I expect Williams to put college football on notice this season. It will start in their conference matchup tonight as I don’t see anybody in the Duke secondary that can stop him. I like him cruising over this total.

SAME GAME PARLAY OF THE DAY: Clemson Moneyline, Clemson vs. Duke Over 54.5 Points, Riley Leonard Over 197.5 Passing Yards, Jordan Moore Over 39.5 Receiving Yards, Antonio Williams Over 51.5 Receiving Yards, Will Shipley Anytime Touchdown (6 Legs +898)
